Huw Groucutt is an archaeologist specialising in the Middle Palaeolithic period of Arabia and the implications for the adaptation and dispersal of hominin populations.
His wider research interests include lithic technology, modern human origins, and hominin evolution from Marine Isotope Stage 7 to 3. Huw’s doctoral thesis is entitled ‘Hominin Dispersals and the Middle Palaeolithic of Arabia’ and was completed at the University of Oxford.
