Sarah El-Dossary is a PhD student at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Her research focuses on the rock art of Jubbah, Shuwaymis and Hanakiyah in Saudi Arabia.
Sarah compares stylistic elements in the depiction of animals and humans across rock art sites in northwestern Saudi Arabia to find evidence for regional identities and population dynamics. She is a specialist in quantitative comparisons of human and animal depictions and has carried out extensive fieldwork in Jubbah, Shuwaymis and Hanakiyah.
Sarah teaches courses on rock art tracing and digitization for postgraduate students at KSU and recently presented her research at the IFRAO conference in Caceres, Spain.
