Tom Higham is the Deputy Director of the Oxford Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit at the University of Oxford. He has more than 20 years experience in radiocarbon dating and coordinates the archaeological dating programmes in the Radiocarbon Unit. He is interested in sample pretreatment chemistry methods, Bayesian statistical modelling, dating of the Middle and Upper Palaeolithic period in Eurasia and applying the latest radiocarbon techniques to the archaeological record.
